Privacy Policy

Welcome to the digital reading platform service provided by PFE. PFE adopts a highly respectful and protective attitude towards the privacy of each member, in order to support the protection of personal information and maintain online privacy. The following terms and conditions are intended for users and consumers of the Platform Services, and we hereby make the following statement in order to assist you in understanding how PFE obtains, uses, and further protects your personal information, PFE will explicitly disclose our privacy protection policy. If you have any questions or comments after reading this statement, please contact us through Customer Service. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, and the new Privacy Policy applies to this website or the services provided by PFE. PFE will notify you of any significant changes and suggests that you periodically consult this Privacy Policy.

 

 

A. Scope of Privacy

This statement applies to all users of PFE and to personal information used in the processing of user registrations, as well as to personal information that will be used in cooperation with PFE and its vendors. It also includes personal information that will be used when working with PFE and collaborating with its vendors. However, it does not include non-PFE members and employees under management.

 

 

B. Access to and Use of Personal Information

PFE does not actively request users to provide any personal information and complies with the rights and obligations stipulated in the Computer Processing Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws. You are not required to provide your personal information when you browse the PFE Platform Services. PFE collects information from you during the process of registering as a member, transacting business, and reading and using reading software. The purposes for which data is collected include marketing, contractual, contract-like or other legal relationship matters, consumer, customer management and service, consumer protection, statistical and research analysis, and other business operations as defined in the business registration or articles of organization. PFE will record the time and location of the user's visit, as well as the user's browsing and purchasing information on the website. 3. User ID: When you activate PFE's applications, we will create a unique identification number (“User ID”) for you. If you agree to create a PFE account, your User ID will be used when you activate applications for the various services offered by PFE. We will use your User ID to store your User ID so that you can use it to perform social functions with other users on PFE, and, of course, PFE will verify each individual's identity and understanding of the use of our services. By using your User ID to access the Services, you also agree that PFE may administratively recover or delete your account information.

 

PFE will collect information about the device, browser and applications (Apps) you are using (advertising identifiers that identify the device/browser, cookie identifiers, device type, operating system, language/time zone settings, browser type, version of the application (Apps), etc.), as well as network information (telecommunication carrier name, IP address, etc.). PFE may also link the advertising identifiers collected with internal identifiers.

 

In addition, information about when and how you use the Services, including your use of various features, such as the date and time you activate our individual applications, the length of time you use our individual services, the results of searches you perform through the relevant applications, the services you purchase, and the content you view or click on. We use your Device ID to track the use of our Services by unique users, to enable you to interact with and use them, and, of course, for PFE to authenticate each individual and understand the use of our Services. When you use your Device ID to access the Services, you also agree that PFE can administratively recover or delete your account information through your Device ID.

 

5. Responding to Your Questions: PFE will respond to any questions you may have regarding the PFE Services through direct indirect contact such as e-mail, mail, or telephone.

 

6. Promotion or Marketing: PFE will provide marketing and promotional information related to the Services through e-mail, messages, etc. PFE will also send Members any content or advertisements that they view. PFE will also analyze the content or advertisements viewed by members according to your personal preferences, subscription and purchase history, and browsing of the PFE platform, in order to provide more accurate marketing and promotional information. Also through e-mail, messages for market research and members of the various services to improve and update the basis.

 

C. Data Security

In order to protect the privacy and security of members, PFE member account information will be password protected. PFE will endeavor to use the latest security protection technology and procedures to protect the security of each member's personal information. When you proceed through the checkout process or complete a payment on the PFE platform, your confidential information is immediately processed by the server using 128 bit encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protection. Once the purchase or subscription is complete, your account will be debited and the verification number will not be used to authorize additional transactions or amounts. PFE will verify the credit card verification information and ensure that the approved credit card verification can only be used to authorize the amount of money and transactions you have authorized on a single occasion.

Changes to Personal Information

 

Any member registered with PFE may change his or her member information and password at any time by utilizing the member modification feature provided by PFE. If you request PFE to delete your personal information or data for a specific reason, please make the request and PFE will immediately accept the deletion and will not redistribute it to a third party.

 

D. Personal Information Sharing Statement

In order to protect the privacy of our users, PFE carefully selects third-party partners and promises you that PFE will not arbitrarily sell, exchange, or lease any member's personal information to any third party, unless authorized by you, or in good faith, in order to comply with service requirements, and in accordance with the law.

Under special circumstances, PFE will be able to disclose user information for the purpose of legal proceedings if you violate PFE's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, violate the law, damage or impede PFE's rights or the rights of other PFE users, or any person who may be harmed by the foregoing, provided that PFE reasonably believes that disclosure of this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against the user.

In addition, if PFE is required by a judicial authority to disclose certain personal information for reasons of public safety, PFE will cooperate as necessary to comply with the legal and formal procedural requirements of the local judicial authorities.

 

 

E. International Transfers

Because PFE's services are global in scope and your data and information may be transferred in connection with the services in your location, PFE is committed to protecting your personal data and information in accordance with local privacy laws and this Privacy Policy. If your region does not have comprehensive privacy protection laws, you agree that PFE will treat you as an individual with respect to the protection of your privacy rights in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

 

 

F. Use of Cookies

Cookies allow the Web Server to recognize user information. In general, when a web page is read, the server is unable to recognize whether the user has been here before and the number of times the user has been here. PFE does not share personal information of members under the age of thirteen with third parties and does not sell or rent members' personal information, nor does PFE display direct marketing messages directed at children under the age of thirteen. If PFE learns that a parent or guardian who has a child under the age of thirteen has provided PFE with personal information without the parent's or guardian's consent, PFE will delete the information.
